Meet the executive team that is leading the charge to reinvent the travel, expense, and invoice experience.

Christian Klein is Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and member of the Executive Board of SAP SE. In his role as COO, Klein leads SAP’s transformation into an Intelligent Enterprise by focusing on business process simplification, global IT, product and services quality, portfolio and investment strategy, intelligent data and analytics, and value achievement through digital innovation adoption to the benefit of both customers and employees.
Prior to becoming CEO, Klein in addition to his role as COO was heading the Intelligent Enterprise Group, combining global responsibility for the development and delivery of SAP’s core applications with the cross-board area mandate for SAP’s global business operations. Klein’s Intelligent Enterprise Group drove SAP’s digital core development functions and product management. This included SAP’s flagship product SAP S/4HANA, SAP Digital Supply Chain, and managing SAP’s rich industry-specific portfolio.
Klein started his career at SAP in 1999 as a student. He held various positions in Active Global Support Operations, Services Operations, and Global Controlling, and served as Chief Financial Officer of SAP SuccessFactors (2011-2012). In 2014, he became Chief Controlling Officer and on April 1, 2016, he was named Chief Operating Officer. Since October 11, 2019, Christian Klein and Jennifer Morgan were Co-CEOs of SAP SE; on April 20, 2020, Christian Klein was appointed sole CEO of SAP SE.
Klein holds a diploma in International Business Administration from the University of Cooperative Education in Mannheim, Germany.

A 25-year veteran of the business software industry, Jim Lucier has served as President of SAP Concur since June 2019. In this role, he sets the vision and oversees its execution for the world’s leading provider of integrated travel, expense and invoice management services and solutions. Previously, he was SAP Concur’s Chief Revenue Officer (Americas) and global Chief Services Officer from 2017 to 2019.
Jim joined Concur in 2008 as Vice President for Business Development. In 2011 he became General Manager of the Federal Government Business Unit. His previous industry experience includes senior leadership positions at JPMorgan Chase, Xign, Etensity and Gnossos Software. Jim holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College. He and his family live in McLean, VA.

As Chief Financial Officer for SAP Concur, Tom Lavin is responsible for the planning and execution of financial goals for the business in strategic partnership with the leadership team. Tom has been with SAP for over 18 years, and was most recently the CFO for SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass. Previously, he held various financial leadership roles in SAP’s field and marketing organizations. Prior to SAP, he served in finance roles for various international companies including KPMG, Swiss Reinsurance Co. and Marubeni Corporation.

Mr. Adamic was appointed Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of SAP Concur in January 2020. Prior to this role, Mr. Adamic was General Manager, Enterprise Americas Distribution. In that role, he oversaw an organization of more than 600+ employees based throughout North America. He was responsible for all aspects of revenue generating go-to-market strategies and departments that spanned across Sales, Marketing, Client Development, Account Management, Presales Solution/Technical Consulting and Customer Improvement and Business Insights & Analytics. Mr. Adamic is a 14-year veteran of the Concur and has held many positions throughout his time with the company including Senior Vice President and Vice President Enterprise Americas Sales, Regional Sales Director East, and Global Sales Executive. Prior to SAP Concur, he had a five-year tenure as an Enterprise Sales Manager for Kronos, Inc.

Mike Koetting joined SAP Concur in 2010 and was named Chief Product Strategy Officer in June 2019. In this role, Mr. Koetting is responsible for the strategy of SAP Concur’s portfolio of travel, expense and invoice management products and services. In addition to the portfolio strategy responsibilities, Mike is responsible for SAP Concur’s Travel Supplier and TMC Services organizations which manage the relationships with travel suppliers, GDSs and TMC reseller/fulfillment partners and provide the world’s leading travel agency automation technology, Compleat. Mike is also one the original architects of Concur TripLink. Prior to joining SAP Concur Mr. Koetting held a variety of senior positions at Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Maritz Corporate Travel. He began his career as a CPA with Price Waterhouse and he is also a seven-time Ironman and altruistic kidney donor.

Saju Pillai first joined SAP Concur India in 2014 and started Concur’s Core Services engineering team. After moving to the US in 2017 for a role as Vice President of Engineering, Saju was named Chief Technology Officer in February 2020. In his role as Chief Technology Officer, Saju leads technology and operations teams to build, deliver and continuously improve the fully integrated Travel, Expense and Invoice suite of products. His previous experience includes 19 years in the tech and engineering industry where he co-founded two companies and served in various senior engineering roles at Oracle.

Christopher Juneau is a veteran of the cloud technology sector, with a passion for customer success and deep experience in B2B marketing. He has served in eleven different marketing positions since 1994. A world traveler, Chris opened SAP Concur’s office in the Czech Republic in 2008 and was responsible for marketing throughout the EMEA region until 2010. He led expansions into China, France, Germany, Japan, and India. He served as senior marketing director for Australia and Asia-Pacific and became vice president of marketing for SAP Concur in 2015. He went on to various leadership roles on SAP Concur’s senior leadership team, including chief of staff for the president and senior vice president of Global Cloud Strategic Programs. He was elevated to chief marketing officer in February 2020.

Valerie (Val) Blatt joined SAP Concur in January 2020 as the Business Head and General Manager of the global Small to Medium-sized Business (SMB) division. In this role, Val leads a sales organization of nearly 1,000 employees throughout North America, EMEA, and APAC. Prior to leading the SMB team, Val spent 14 years with SAP Ariba. During her tenure with SAP Ariba, she ran the Ariba Network team and most recently served as Global Vice President and General Manager of Cloud Services. Val holds a BA in English from Westminster College, Pennsylvania. During her time at Westminster, Val studied abroad, igniting her passion for global business.

Kyile Stair joined SAP Concur in 2015. As an HR Business Partner, she supported SAP Concur’s Sales, Marketing, and SMB organizations. She is a certified coach through Erickson Academy and has a passion for individual and leadership development. Prior to joining SAP Concur, Kyile worked in HR for Zulily and held various leadership roles at Target. She holds a BA in Business Management and HR and received her MBA from the University of Montana. Kylie was appointed as Head of HR for SAP Concur in April 2020.

Jenn McColly is the Vice President of Employee Experience (EX) at SAP Concur, overseeing corporate social responsibility, diversity and inclusion, recognition, internal communications and employee engagement. Prior to leading the Employee Experience team, Jenn was the Vice President of Global Human Resources at SAP Concur. Jenn is passionate about empowering people to bring their passions and purpose together through meaningful and interesting work. Jenn holds a BA in Organization Communication from the University of Montana and is a member of the board of the Eastside Crusaders Youth Lacrosse Club and the advisory board of College of Humanities & Sciences at the University of Montana.

Steve Young is a cloud software industry veteran. He played a pivotal role in the initial success and growth of Outtask, a cloud startup company that pioneered integrated travel and expense prior to being acquired by SAP Concur in 2006. Following the acquisition, Steve helped to carry forward the concept of unified travel and expense in the cloud, helping SAP Concur become the world’s leading travel and expense solution provider. Steve has held various senior leadership roles during his tenure at SAP Concur, with an emphasis on delivering world-class service and support experiences for customers. Those roles have included Senior Vice President for Implementation Services and Executive Vice President for Global Services.

Ed Kim joined SAP Concur in 1999 as a consultant implementing customers on the company’s groundbreaking SaaS solution, which transformed it from a provider of on-premise solutions into a cloud business that leads its industry. Ed has since held various Services, Account Management and Operational leadership roles, including a two-year assignment as country director of SAP Concur Philippines. As VP of Executive Operations, Ed acts as chief of staff to SAP Concur’s president, overseeing the Office of the President, and working with the executive team to drive strategies that continuously improve business operations, customer experiences and company performance.

Scott Schwisow has led the Business Transformation team at SAP Concur since January 2017 where he is responsible for delivering strategic corporate-wide initiatives. Scott has a long tenure with SAP Concur, having joined in 1996 during the start-up phase. Since then Scott has served in many senior leadership roles across consulting services, cloud operations, customer success, PMO and mergers & acquisitions that have helped shape and transform SAP Concur into one of the leading cloud applications in the marketplace. Prior to SAP Concur, Scott was a professional consultant for 10 years with Accenture and Epicor Software.
