Announcing the 2026 SAP Concur Innovation Award Winners

SAP Concur Team |

SAP Concur Fusion is our moment to spotlight the latest product updates, the advances we’re making with our AI-driven experience, and the customers reshaping how business gets done with SAP Concur solutions.

Each year we celebrate standout innovation through the SAP Concur Innovation Awards, and at Fusion 2026 we honored this year’s winners. These organizations are driving measurable change — removing tedious manual tasks with automation, sharpening visibility and control over spend, improving traveler experience, and using integrations and AI in practical, responsible ways to scale their operations.

LTM succeeded in a fast, high-impact unification of travel and expense after its merger. They deployed a single, global SAP Concur platform that scaled to tens of thousands of users with zero-downtime migration, added AI-driven capabilities like Request Assistant and ExpenseIt, and connected TripIt Pro, Uber for Business, and a new budget module and cash-advance workflows. The transformation increased user autonomy for bookings, gave approvers real-time visibility into budgets, and streamlined international expense settlement, driving both better compliance and a simpler experience for employees.

With 85,000+ users onboarded, LTM saved more than 11,400 hours through automation, and saw a 21% improvement in time-to-payment, and a 25% reduction in the expense lifecycle.

Schwarz Group solved a long-standing inclusion gap by building a custom connector that delivers SAP Concur notifications to store employees via shared MAT terminals and the SAP Fiori Launchpad—no smartphone or company email required. The solution brought thousands of deskless workers into a unified, paperless expense workflow across multiple countries, shortening correction loops, speeding reimbursements, and improving transparency. It also served as one of Schwarz Group’s first enterprise cloud application, acting as a blueprint for scalable, secure digital inclusion and a springboard to future rollouts and handheld device adoption.

Key outcomes included:

  • Digital access for store-based staff across 33 subsidiaries and 14,200 stores in 32 countries, with ~3 months implementation time per subsidiary.
  • Estimated sustainability benefit of >8 tons of paper saved annually at full rollout.
  • Faster correction cycles, improved turnaround and real-time reporting, and a standardized, compliant expense process for frontline teams.

Natura transformed a fragmented, paper-heavy T&E landscape into a centralized, automated regional platform. By replacing 11 parallel systems with a single SAP Concur instance, harmonizing 14 conflicting policies into three, and integrating with SAP ECC (with an S/4HANA-ready roadmap), they automated audits, introduced OCR receipt capture and intelligent workflows, and ran a focused change-management program to secure adoption across countries.

The results speak for themselves:

  • Eliminated ~27,000 hours/year of manual work and recovered ~10,000 hours/year for the sales team through an 80% reduction in time spent on expense reporting.
  • Improved compliance by 62%, reducing out-of-policy travel spend and recovering improper tax payments.
  • Achieved cost savings via negotiation.
  • Delivered faster reimbursements, standardized regional reporting, and a future-ready platform that supports growth and migration to S/4HANA.

Wipro transformed travel and expense from a fragmented, manual process into a strategic value hub by deploying SAP Concur at scale, standardizing global rules, and driving mobile and AI adoption alongside ERP and card integrations. The program delivered $2.62M in quantified value, cut the reimbursement cycle to 2.7 days, reduced average transaction cost from $23.50 to $8.10, lowered out of policy submissions from 32% to 8% while raising receipt compliance to 98%, and boosted employee satisfaction from 42% to 89%; it also captured $50.6M of previously untracked spend to fuel better sourcing and fraud detection. Together, these changes elevated T&E from an administrative burden to an analytics-driven function ready for AI audits, tax recovery, and predictive spend management.

Royal Mail modernized T&E for a largely non‑connected workforce by rolling out SAP Concur with a focused change program that prioritized accessibility and adoption. The team paired a mobile‑first, AI‑ready platform with creative communications (branded launches, a three‑minute animation, on‑site Connect & Learn sessions and local champions) and targeted training to reach more than 130,000 colleagues — including over 78,000 without company email. The program replaced fragmented, manual workflows with a single, integrated platform with productivity benefits, accountability, and compliance at its core.

Royal Mail has seen a 65% reduction in the time spent completing an expense report, greater than £500,000 saved on its annual T&E budget and 100% of expense claims are now audited pre-payment.

Staple AI earned the Partner Innovation Award for delivering a tightly integrated single eInvoice platform for SAP Concur Expense and Concur Invoice customers, enabling end-to-end automation of invoice and receipt processing at a global scale.

Their self-learning AI accurately extracts and captures line-item data from receipts and invoices in 300+ languages, automatically creating and itemizing expense entries (including custom fields) within Concur. Staple AI serves SAP Concur customers as a single global platform that reconciles documents with tax authorities and routes compliant eInvoices, significantly reducing manual work while improving accuracy and cross-border compliance.

The result is dramatically reduced manual work and improved accuracy. Delivering more than an 80% productivity improvement for Concur Expense end users and approximately a 9x productivity uplift for finance teams, it has accelerated the digitization of T&E and increased financial visibility. Staple AI’s global footprint includes customers in 60 countries and data centers in the United States, China, Germany, and Singapore. Combined with its tax authority integrations, this supports scalable, localized compliance and a clear roadmap for additional market launches

We’re proud these teams have found success with SAP Concur solutions and it’s an honor to recognize each as a 2026 SAP Concur Innovation Award winner. Congratulations to all of the 2026 winners — we look forward to following their continued progress and sharing their stories of transformation.
