UST shifts 67% of T&E spend to company cards

With thousands of consultants across the globe, UST helps companies with their digital transformations. But before adopting Concur Travel & Expense and Concur Invoice, UST was using a home-grown travel tool and relying on manual expense and invoice processes.

With long approval times and lack of visibility into spend, UST needed a solution and turned to SAP Concur to move their T&E processes to a single platform.

Through an intentional change management process, including focus groups with dozens of travelers and incorporating feedback from 40 stakeholders, the company redefined its T&E processes. UST implemented self-booking for US travelers, adopted virtual cards for hotel bookings, moved to a light-weight approval process and shifted T&E expenses from invoices to expenses with a corporate card program.

After the roll-out 95% of domestic travel is auto-approved, 67% of overall T&E spend shifted to cards and they have seen 100% adoption for travel bookings, expenses, and cash advances through SAP Concur solutions.

For us, digital has been the way of doing business. And it is something that we believe in adopting in-house as well. SAP Concur that we use for our travel and expense was a choice that came out of what we did not just for our clients, but the way we wanted to transform our own business.
