How to Use This Assessment

This interactive assessment is designed to help you understand how your organization manages and governs spend across key areas of procurement.

Step 1: Complete the assessment

Across pages 4–8, review each section and select the option that best reflects your organization today.

Choose one response per section based on your current state—not your ideal future state.

Step 2: Explore your results

Once all five sections are completed, navigate to page 9 to view your results.

Your total score is calculated based on your selections and reflects your organization’s current level of spend maturity.

Step 3: Understand your maturity level

Your score aligns to one of four stages:

• Fragmented (5–9)
  Limited visibility and control. Risk and inefficiencies are often identified after the fact.
• Emerging Structure (10–14)
  Foundational processes are in place, but siloed systems and reactive workflows limit impact.
• Integrated Control (15–19)
  Strong alignment across systems and policies. The next step is embedding intelligence into workflows.
• Intelligent & Predictive (20–25)
  Proactive, data-driven control. Spend is continuously optimized through real-time insight and automation.
