We know you work hard to make your travel and expense program as effective as possible – so, you probably already know that engaged users are key to program success. But what’s the best way to engage your employees?
Just like you work hard on running a successful program, your users are busy putting 40+ hours a week into their mission – leaving little time (and frankly desire) for them to invest in their corporate travel and expense responsibilities. This means, you need to be tactful when it comes to capturing their attention and educating them on what’s available and the actions they need to take.
Luckily, we have these tips and resources that will help you educate and engage your users:
The first step in helping your users is being educated yourself. Fortunately, we have plenty of resources to help you become – and stay – a Concur expert.
Attending Fusion and Fusion Exchange events is a great way to dive in and learn about the products you use (or could be using). Through keynotes, educational sessions, and live demos, you can learn how to make the most of your particular product suite. You’ll also be able to network with other admins and learn more about how they’re leveraging Concur and engaging their users.
You can also keep updated on SAP Concur’s products by visiting concur.com/whatsnew and watching our What’s New videos.
Being knowledgeable about Concur will make it easier for you to help your users with any questions they might have and promote the products you have purchased for them.
Be part of our Community
We recetly launched the new SAP Concur Community and encourage you to visit and test out your new peer-to-peer space designed with customers and users in mind!
This engaging Community will help you get the most out of your SAP Concur solutions through forum-based conversations, Support FAQs, and information on events. Ask a question, find a resource, or help a peer.
Don’t forget about all the resources available for you and your users on concurtraining.com. Here, you’ll find videos, PDFs, tips sheets, and other content that will help you let users know what’s available to them and educate them on the actions they need to take. Pick and choose the content you’d like to share and how you’d like to share it (hint: onboarding, company social, digital signage, etc.).
Admin training pages will also have content like email templates. This content makes it simple for you – a member of their company they trust – to deliver important information.
Leading with unique benefits
Get to know your users and what’s important to them. Do your users care about speed and ease the most? The ability to get things done on the road? The added benefits? Find out and draw your users in with the corresponding features.
This could be the Concur app – helping them get things done no matter where they are. Or it could be the free subscription to TripIt Pro – something they can take advantage of on business and personal trips. Or maybe it’s’ Drive – helping your users that are constantly out on the road expense car mileage. Find it and promote it.
In-product messaging is a service we provide to help educate and engage your users on the specific products available to them. There are certain messages you can opt into to help drive your travel program priorities. Currently, you can opt into messages that promote your preferred suppliers – learn more here.
