Keynote presentation focuses on company's continuous innovation, world-class service and industry leadership
REDMOND, Wash., Feb. 23 -- Concur (Nasdaq: CNQR), the world's leading provider of on-demand Employee Spend Management services, today kicked off the Concur Global User Conference in San Diego, California with a keynote presentation led by Rajeev Singh, president and COO, and featuring Thomas DePasquale, executive vice president, research and development. Inspired by the theme "Chart The Course", Concur executives unveiled new partnerships and new solutions to transform employee spend management and to drive industry-leading innovation.
In the opening keynote, Singh and DePasquale shared insights into how Concur is delivering innovation to help to drive change within the corporate travel industry, streamlining the supply chain, and enabling clients to drive down operational costs. Some of the highlights of the keynote include:
Concur® Connect - the company's ongoing investment in Concur Connect, the global program that makes a wide variety of services, inventory and content available directly to Concur clients, is of great interest to both travel managers and suppliers of travel services. In addition to the recent investment in RideCharge, Concur has added many new suppliers to the Concur Connect network, including Enterprise Rent-A-Car (National and Alamo brands), SNCF, SWABIZ, Volaris and Interjet, just to name a few. These join Open Table, Park 'N Fly and an impressive selection of air, hotel, car and rail inventory otherwise unavailable through traditional sources. Concur Connect enables all of these suppliers to also deliver e-receipts directly into the traveler's expense report, making detailed corporate spend data available for further analysis.
Concur® Intelligence - clients using Concur's premium on-demand solution for advanced reporting and analysis will soon be able to take advantage of many new and powerful features to derive even more valuable and actionable business intelligence from their corporate travel spend data. Some of the new functionality includes automatic bursting and report distribution, a new Fraud Reporting Module that looks for patterns and flags suspicious expenses, flexible dashboards and scorecards that help to drive key performance indicators and measure success against budget, and much more.
Concur® Mobile - travelers using Concur Travel & Expense will soon be able to use their mobile device to conduct business travel transactions, pay for travel services, approve expenses and capture T&E expense data - all while on the road. By extending Concur's powerful travel and expense capabilities to popular smartphones, Concur is making life even easier and more productive for business travelers while enabling their organizations to gain even more visibility and control over the vast amount of un-managed travel spend that occurs once the initial trip has been booked.
American Express Partnership - in addition to learning about Concur's relentless commitment to innovation, Concur Global User Conference attendees will also learn about the partnership between Concur and American Express. The two leaders have partnered to deliver a powerful combination of corporate card program and automated T&E expense management. The partnership continues to gain traction as both companies market their services together to clients and prospects.
"We have a responsibility to help our clients cut costs, especially during these uncertain times," said Rajeev Singh, president and COO of Concur. "By making significant investments across our portfolio of employee spend management services - both though innovation and value-added partnerships - Concur is strengthening our commitment to help each and every client meet the changing demands and challenges of driving even more costs out of their businesses."
