Last week, Concur opened a new headquarters in the United Kingdom at Maidenhead, signaling major growth for the company. Having been previously located in Slough, the new office in Maidenhead is prominently located in the center of town to accommodate Concur’s expanding presence in the UK. The official ribbon cutting was attended by Concur President, Elena Donio, and Councillor Eileen Quick, in addition to local Concur employees. The event was a great reminder of the value of face-to-face engagement between the business community and local governments where Concur offices are located.
While the Concur business is growing abroad, it continues to grow in the United States as well. Puget Sound Business Journal recently published an article about the expansion of the global Concur headquarters in Bellevue. Currently occupying 180,000 square feet in the Key Center in downtown Bellevue, Senior Director of Global Real Estate, recently shared Concur’s plans to acquire 63,000 square feet within the building in the next year, which would equals roughly half of the Key Center.
Currently, there are approximately 27 million users of Concur solutions globally, and that number is poised to grow now that Concur is an SAP company. After the acquisition by SAP was finalized, Elena Donio shared that with the “increased sales resources” from SAP could potentially allow Concur to double its customers in an interview with PSBJ’s Jacob Demmit. With an increased focus on serving its customers, continued investment in infrastructure and being a member of the world’s largest business network, Concur’s growth appears limitless.
