EMEA’s General Manager, Isabel Montesdeoca, sent the following blog post about receiving the valuable accreditation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
We are pleased to announce we are the first company in our sector to receive official IT Product Accreditation from the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), a professional, global membership organisation supporting chartered accountants. Our Concur Premier and GlobalExpense from Concur solutions have been accredited which maintains our promise of delivering accurate, reliable and state-of-the-art integrated travel and expense management software to accountants and finance professionals, across all sectors.
Vendors within the e-commerce industry, as well as a host of other sectors dedicated to serving the accountancy industry, can apply for the ICAEW’s accreditation. Each application is meticulously assessed against robust technical evaluation criteria to verify solutions deliver to the highest possible standard. This accreditation also demonstrates the software is provided by an organisation that is financially sound and offers strong customer support in addition to technical expertise. The scheme provides a stamp of approval that accountants can rely on, and is rapidly becoming the benchmark for software used by accountants operating both in-house and in-practice.
To gain this accreditation, we have successfully completed a thorough check of our integrated travel and expense management software achieving recognition for our expertise in customer satisfaction, maintenance and innovation, to name a few. The ICAEW’s Employee Expense Management Software Evaluation confirms that our software allows employees to efficiently make travel bookings online and via mobile and to input detailed and accurate submissions of expense claims. It proves our solutions automatically route expenses for approval, meeting the requirements of individual company travel and expense policies. It also verifies we provide thorough reports that allow visibility into spend patterns and can fast track payment to employees when necessary.
Finally, the accreditation asserts that our software provides sufficient information to allow companies to meet their regulatory reporting obligations with regards to VAT, for example. This is paramount when it comes to complying with the UK Bribery Act which came into effect this summer.
Not only does this accreditation demonstrate how effective our technology is and how far we go to support our customers, it also brings with it a long term partnership with the ICAEW. This is a great platform for us to share best practices and offer guidance to customers based on the ICAEW’s professional, technical and ethical standards. All-in-all this accreditation is another example of why Concur is the perfect expenses partner for accountants everywhere.
