Books Spend Management Experts Should Read in 2020

My travels this year have taken me throughout North America and beyond. One commonality I continue to experience is the genuine passion that those who oversee or manage employee spend and travel continue to show, despite an ever-evolving, swiftly changing landscape in our business. As I meet with our clients and other influencers in our space, we often share strategies and tips on how to keep up and inspired so we continue to show value to our organizations and the many employees we serve daily.

In the spirit of sharing some of this knowledge and put you on a successful journey in 2020, we’ve put together a list of nine books from some of the most revered thought leaders in spend management.

Here’s my recommendation:

Tribe of Mentors: Short Life Advice from the Best in the World by Tim Ferriss

Everyone needs a resource on their shelf that they can turn to at different times in their lives for inspiration, quotes or     ideas. I share this book often with friends, family and various women’s leadership groups because it has inspirational    ‘short stories’ and it’s a quick read. CEOs, athletes, artists, entrepreneurs and others share their wisdom. A key takeaway   from the book that I practice is to trust my instincts and keep pursuing what I believe in.

I invite you to review the eight other nominations and get inspired for 2020!
