Concur Budget is a new feature that makes budgets visible, actionable, and real-time for approvers and budget owners. With this new feature, budget owners will see a new menu option under the Reporting tab. From there, the Budget Dashboard lets them drill into specific components of spend they control based on components you can create and modify.
As the administrator, you set up a Budget Configuration specific to your situation, such as:
- Budget Items, which define the budget including fiscal year, budget owner, budget name and description,
- Fiscal Calendars,
- Categories to combine or group expense types,
- Tracking fields to track spending on a cost or profit center level, and
- Settings which allow you to set alert limits and control limits.
