This week at GBTA in Los Angeles we’re talking a lot about mobile innovation and the ways that technology enhances choice in the travel market. As business travelers continue to embrace new tools to get where they need to go, many companies and TMCs are scrambling to adapt policies – and their technologies – to meet their needs. Thankfully, the magic of the Concur platform allows customers to effortlessly connect with new travel apps and still provide the transparency they need to track traveler safety and spend.
For years our clients have been asking us to create a connection with Uber. Today we’re thrilled to announce that we have partnered with Uber to provide a connected and effortless experience for Concur business travelers. Travelers will be able to request, ride, pay, and automatically expense – all from their mobile phone. The integration between Uber and the Concur platform will enhance and expand customer visibility into ground transportation spend.
In addition, American Express is partnering with Concur and Uber to enable American Express Corporate Card Clients in the US to automatically enroll their employees to capture Uber receipts within Concur and have immediate visibility into the spend. This three-way integration between the Concur platform, Uber and American Express will be available this fall.
To connect your Concur and Uber accounts now, click here to download, and follow these instructions:
- Once connected, the Uber app will automatically send e-receipts for your rides straight to Concur.
- When Concur and Uber are connected, you’ll notice a Concur logo next to your payment source on the “Request Ride” screen
- The connection to Concur can easily be turned ON or OFF from the payment selector screen.
