New Concur Partnerships Including Amadeus and American Express Business Travel
Hello from Boca Raton, Florida. I just wrapped up my keynote speech at our annual client conference, Fusion. During that speech, you heard me announce that Concur and Amadeus have entered into a long-term alliance. This partnership was formed to collaborate and integrate travel and expense technology to deliver greater choice to customers worldwide.
Here at Concur, we’re thrilled with this partnership because of the value it delivers to our customers – Amadeus is a leading global provider of technology in the travel and tourism industry and Concur is a leading global provider of end-to-end travel and expense management solutions. Bringing two leaders like Amadeus and Concur together will help continue to drive innovation for the entire industry and drive greater value for our clients. Both Concur and Amadeus continue to see increasing demand for truly integrated travel and expense management solutions, further validating Concur’s vision and leadership.
In addition, just a few days ago, we announced an agreement with American Express Business Travel that provides clients with a single end-to-end program with all three components – payment, travel management and expense management. In addition, we’ll be working with American Express Business Travel to create a joint product council which will be responsible for developing new functionality and services to be exclusively available to companies using this end-to-end program.
In addition to these two partnership announcements, Concur recently extended partnership agreements with Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Travelport. The big question – what do all these partnerships mean? At the end of the day, the clear message being sent is that Concur is here to provide our clients with a travel and expense experience that’s flexible, fosters choice, reduces costs and increases efficiency. Together, all of these partnerships ensure that our clients have open access to the partners that they prefer while enjoying the broadest set of global travel content in the industry.
