Who knew Santa Clara, California, was such a spendy spot? After processing $50 billion in travel and entertainment expenses, Concur has insight into where road warriors spent the night, dined out or hailed a cab in 2011 – and they’re in some pretty interesting places.
We are excited to share 2011’s biggest expense trends in our annual T&E Spend Report – a unique look into the habits of more than 15,000 frequent travelers at home and around the globe.
To figure out where travelers spent money – and where they didn’t – Concur analyzed anonymous, aggregated expense report data for calendar year 2011 and compared it to 2010. The results give an idea how much money went into business travel line items and what you might expect to pay in different cities in the United States and abroad.
