Chili!Soft, Inc., a privately held company based in Bellevue, Washington, develops and markets software that enables Web developers to build dynamic Internet applications that work across many different computing platforms.

Major investors include Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Encompass Ventures. In 1997, Chili!Soft released Chili!Soft ASP based on Microsoft's Active Server Pages (ASP) Internet development environment, but with the added ability to work across platforms. To date, Chili!Soft has established its platform-independent strategy with support for ASP applications running on multiple Web servers and operating systems.

Chili!Soft's strategy has proven effective among customers in a corporate environment as companies outgrow their initial Internet server structures opting to change and expand their platform choices. Combining its platform-independence with the power and ease-of-use inherent in ASP development, Chili!Soft provides a compelling alternative to expensive Java programming.

In addition, Chili!Soft has developed a successful customer network made up of Internet Service Providers (ISPs) who host Web sites and applications built using ASP. Accomplished sales programs have also been targeted at Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) implementing a platform independent strategy for their products.

Chili!Soft will continue to expand the platform choices available as it works to accomplish its mission of empowering all enterprise-wide Web-based application developers with ASP (Active Server Pages) technology. It continues to build a community of ASP developers, striving to provide them with an ever-expanding base of applications and tools.
